I'm not sure what inspired this mani. Summer picnics with the typical red gingham, Smuckers Jam lids, Bath and Body Works, the musical Waitress. All I know is I wore this for a full week and I love the summer vibes of it. I got a lot of compliments on this look too! So let's get to this look!

This was another on my to do list forever. I basically get ideas and have an ongoing list of manicures to do. It seems like I never make a dent, but I'm happy I did with this one.
I went through such a trial of which blues to use! I was going to use the typical white base, but I used an extremely pale blue, which I think adds depth to the look! Once I matted it, I was like whoa. I won't lie, I loved wearing this, and I think I sort of want to do this in a red version for my next mani!

For this manicure, I used:
- Girly Bits Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue (base blue)
- KBShimmer Harbor a Crush (medium blue)
- Zoya Walker (darkest blue)
- Matte Top Coat
- Striping Brush

Like all my manis, I seem to wear it for a few days shiny, then a few days matte. I think the matte is more gingham-style, but I can't say I hate the shiny. I loved it both ways and adding the matte made it look like a new mani! I just love my blue phase. I have another blue mani coming up haha.

I did this manicure last Friday and just took it off today because my swatch break is officially over. I could have worn it for a longer period, but I decided it served its purpose. Love it!
