Hello all! It's holiday season, for real now. I am diving in to holiday nail arts but first, let's check out the winter collection from Morgan Taylor. This is a set of 12 colors (of which I have 11) and it's got the glitz of winter but also the moodiness with darker colors. There's a nice combination of finished and colors so let's check it out!

When I was sent this set, they did not have Dancing and Romancing, so it is missing from my swatches. This color is a soft pink creme.
Tell Her She's Stellar: 3 coats plus top coat. I really like this color. I thought it was a straight creme at first. But it actually has copper flecks. It creates a dusty look and it has layers of softness. I love it! It reminds me of my favorite Morgan Taylor My Main Freeze, except it has the gorgeous flecks.

Gilded in Gold: 2 coats. All these metallics can be one coaters and I feel like they will stamp. I love how opaque they are. They aren't that unique, but they don't have too many brushstrokes, which makes all the metallics winners for me. I can't wait to gradient.

From Dusk Til Dawn: 2 coats, but an easy one coater! My absolute favorite of the collection! This has a delicious formula and seriously is so beautiful. It's a dusty mauve color and I think it'll be gorgeous with the metallics and shimmers of the collection.

Copper Dream: 2 coats. This is the gold color in a copper, but it's pulling more rose gold on me. I love it either way. Again, it's super sparkly with not too many brushstrokes and it's lovely.

Shooting Star: 1 coat but did 2 for photos. Seriously, how awesome is this color? I can't wait to gradient all three metallics! It's definitely on my to-do list. This one is definitely a one coater. I don't know why I bothered with two. This is a rich hot cocoa metallic.

See You In My Dreams: 3 coats. 2 coats were a little patchy so I added a third. This one is a super stainer on me. I got some on my cuticle on my middle nail and you can see how much it stained. It's beautiful but double up on base coat and be very careful with removal. Everyone is different, but this one did a number on me LOL.

Walking on Stardust: 2 coats plus top coat. I love this! It's sparkly but not so in your face sparkle. There's larger flakes that float in the jelly base. So pretty! Some of the flakes did stick up a little so simply adjust as you lay it down on your nail.

Let There Be Moonlight: 3 coats, 2 had minor patches. Another favorite of mine. There's a pretty blue tinge to this gray. It reminds me of clouds blocking the moon to create this dusty color. So pretty!

Sprinkles of Twinkle: 3 coats. 2 coats had minor patches. This is total bling bling for the holidays and New Year's Eve. You could get this opaque in 2 careful coats or you could do a gradient or layer this. It's super versatile. There's larger glitters in addition to the microglitter.

A Starry Night: 2 coats. This is definitely a night sky kind of color! It's a rich sapphire blue and would go well with a Sprinkle of Twinkle. It's almost a one coater. I had very minor staining and it came off easily, but wear top coat!

A Kiss in the Dark: 2 coats but it's a one coater. The color is so dark that the shimmer in the bottle gets swallowed on the nail. It's almost black, but it actually is a super dark plum. A total vampy winter shade!
