Like the rumors getting stronger, like PlayStation 5 it will be ready to be launched 1-2 years ago. Yes, various very strong rumors keep popping up, starting from the predictions of analysts and developers who have prepared games that will be released on future consoles. Reportedly, the PlayStation 5 itself will support games in 4K and 240 FPS using the new DualShock which has a touch screen and the presence of backward compatibility to PlayStation 4 games.
Of course, with super-advanced technology, how much will the PlayStation 5 cost when it’s released? What’s more, in Indonesia it can be quite expensive compared to other countries. According to an analyst from Ace Research Institute named Hideki Yasuda said that the PlayStation 5 will sell for around $499. However, he said such a price would not be profitable for Sony.
How come? Yes, because the technology used by the PlayStation 5 is all very sophisticated, so it’s not natural for the price to be considered cheap, when compared to the PlayStation 4. Even though the technology or performance of the PlayStation 5 itself is much higher than the PlayStation 4. In comparison, the PlayStation 4 sells for $399 when its release. And when entering Indonesia, the price tends to be higher depending on the rupiah and dollar exchange rates.
Currently the new PlayStation 4 Slim is pegged at around 4 million rupiah and the new PlayStation 4 Pro is priced around 5 million rupiah. So most likely the PlayStation 5 will have a selling price of 7 to 9 million rupiah when it is released in Indonesia later. Apart from all that, this is just a rumor and waiting for direct confirmation from Sony itself. Sony itself will not be present at this year’s E3 event.
