Soon after the broadcast of its first episode in Japan, it was announced that the TV anime adaptation of Hiroyuki's romantic comedy manga Girlfriend, Girlfriend will be released in four DVD/Blu-ray volumes from October 6, 2021.
Each disc contains three episodes, and their first press limited edition sets also include a special digi-pack featuring a newly-drawn anime illustration, a booklet that contains a newly-drawn manga by Hiroyuki, and a special clear case. In addition, the first volume comes with the manga's 50-page prototype doujinshi "Seiseidoudou, Futamata suru Hanashi" (A story about being a two-timer openly and squarely). After the author finished the serialization of his previous work Aho-Girl, he self-published the doujinshi in the summer of 2019.
DVD (8,800 yen) / Blu-ray (9,900 yen) release schedule:
