Voice actress Miho Okasaki, best known as Rimuru Tempest in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime franchise, announced on July 1 that she will make her solo singer debut from King KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE, which leading voice actors such as Nana Mizuki, Mamoru Miyano, and Inori Minase belong. This is the first debut of a new voice actress from the label in about five and a half years.
After graduated from Japan Narration Acting Institute, she made her voice acting debut in November 2017. Rimuru was her first leading character, and with her highly acclaimed performance of the role, she won the Rookie Actress Award at the 14th Seiyu Awards in 2020.
Her first single "Happiness" is set to be released on September 15, 2021. The title song is newly written/composed by DECO*27, an aclaimed Vocaloid song producer. OKasaki has professed to be a fan of his music.
