Monochromatic Color Block Valentine’s Day Hearts

Press Sample

What is more Valentine's Day than the color pink? And what's better than using a bunch of pinks for a monochromatic colorblock art?! I have so many pinks that it was fun to pull out a bunch of them and have some fun.

I went through my Zoya drawers because I knew I have so many pinks from Zoya. They probably release at least one in every collection. I wanted a mix of darker pinks along with pale pinks, and then some that were more neon.

I used six different Zoya pinks for this look. Here they are from lightest to darkest:

  • Lightest pink: Zoya Joanie
  • Zoya Tweedy
  • Zoya Eden
  • Zoya Palmer
  • Zoya Esty
  • Darkest: Zoya Gigi

I first did my nail with one coat of the lighter color you see on the nail. Then I went over it with a second coat, but only on half of the nail. I was trying to avoid having too many layers on my nails. Then I painted the other half with the darker color. The Zoya formula is amazing so many of these are one coaters so it makes nail art easy!

Then I took two different pinks than what were on my nails and added them as half hearts. I got so many comments on this nails. They were loud and fun and funky. I feel like I don't wear pink nails enough and whenever I do, I love it!

Many of these colors are still available since they are newer.
