Well here we are! 13 Days of Halloween! Today is a manicure I wanted to do ages ago. KBShimmer's fall collection had three colors that when I saw it, I said CANDY CORN. Then I left them on my desk for months waiting for this. Lol. So that is what inspired me for today. So let's check out this fun and final Halloween manicure!
I went against my gut and did a three color gradient, which always turns out to be a huge mess. I do not know why I always make such a huge mess while doing three colors. Two colors? No problem. Even with the latex barrier, I make a mess! That's why I take pictures the next day and clean the rest off in the shower 😂
Here are the colors I used. I love Bunny Slope as a base because it is not too opaque so it does not affect the actual gradient colors, even if they are sheer shimmers.
- Base: Duri Cosmetics Bunny Slope
- White-ish: KBShimmer Perfect Pair
- Orange: KBShimmer Patch Things Up
- Yellow: KBShimmer I Can’t De-Cider
- Black: KBShimmer Total Eclipse
After I did the gradient, I used the black creme to paint a cute kitty. Then I added stars and crescent moons and dots. I thought about adding a matte top coat, but I just loved all the shimmer!
