On the S Series mouse there is also a distance between the palm and the back edge of the mouse. So you can move freely without worrying about the friction of your palms and mousepad.

Unboxing Video & S Series Review by BenQ Zowie: Mouse

Mouse Performance Matched With FPS Players

This latest S Series is practically similar to its predecessors or older brothers such as ZOWIE FK1 where this S Series does not need to be set up with software (plug and play).

For the S Series, it has a polling rate that can be changed into 3 modes: 125 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz. The DPI itself has 4 modes: Red (400), Purple (800), Blue (1600), and Green (3200). It’s just that, this DPI has fixed settings from the manufacturer as mentioned earlier. So if you are used to it, for example the DPI setting is 2100, then you have to follow the blue 1600 DPI setting.

The author himself uses the 1000 Hz setting along with the Blue DPI mode (1600) when playing high-intensity FPS games like Apex Legends. As a result, the performance released from the S Series is satisfactory because the click/tapping to shoot is very light and the precision is quite good on a wooden table surface.

Conclusion

The latest eSport Gaming Mouse S Series from BenQ ZOWIE has a mouse design that is suitable for both casual gamers and pro gamers. The simple black design without any RGB accessories makes this mouse specifically designed to improve performance in playing competitive games.
